04/22/2005 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GGOODMAN Approved 4/22/05 WHILE ON SITE, TENANT APPROACHED INSP C-16 MENTIONED THAT ALTHOUGH SHE HAD POWER TO HER ELECTRICAL METER, SHE HAD NO POWER TO HER APARTMENT.MENTIONED THAT MANAGEMENT HAD COME OUT TO INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM BUT WERE NOT SURE WHAT WAS GOING ON. I ASKED IF SHE WAS PAID UP ON HER ELECTRICAL, SHE SAID SHE WAS PAID UP. CALLED GRIJALVA REALTY, THEY SAID THEY WERE UNAWARETHAT SHE HAD NO POWER, THAT ALL TENANTS WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN GAS AND ELECTRIC, OWNER PAID THE WATER.ALSO MENTIONED THAT TENANT WAS MOVING OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH, WAS GIVEN UNTIL 4/30/05 TO BE OUT. CALLED TEP, SPOKE WITH MICHELLE, SHE MENTIONED THAT THE METER BOX SHOWN TO DNR INSP. C-13 AND C-16 WAS NOT THE CORRECT METER FOR UNIT B-5, BUT WAS THE METER FOR UNIT B-6. SAID THAT THE METER FOR B-5 HAS BEEN OFF SINCE 2003. WANDA MOORE THEN CAME BACK AND SHOWED US THE METER THAT OLD PROPERTY MANAGER CARRIE HAD SHOWED WANDA WAS TURNED ON FOR UNIT B-5, THE INCORRECT METER. MET WITH LAUAR GRIJALVA ON SITE, SHE AGAIN MENTIONED THAT WANDA WAS MOVING OUT BY THE END OF THE MONTH, AND THAT MAINTANENCE HAD NOT BEEN ALLOWED INTO HER UNIT TO MAKE ANY REPAIRS (BROKEN FRONT WINDOW), TENANT WOULD NOT ALLOW ENTRY. EXPLAINED TO WANDA THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WRITE AN EMERGENCY NOV TO VACATE UNIT DUE TO LACK OF POWER, SHE SAID SHE UNDERSTOOD THE PROCESS. TOLD HER SHE WAS ALLOWED IN ONLY DURING THE DAY TO GET BELONGINGS, AND THAT SHE COULD NOT BE IN THE APT. DURING THE EVENINGS. WROTE EMERGENCY NOV/ NOTICE TO VACATE ON SITE,POSTED UNIT, TOOK PICTURES. HAND DELIVERED A COPY TO LAUARA GRIJALVA, LAURA SIGNED FOR COPY.
05/13/2005 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GGOODMAN Approved 5/13/05 VISITED SITE, TOOK PICTURES. MET MAINTANENCE PERSON JOE ON SITE. JOE MENTIONED THAT TENANT IN B-5 HAD VACATED THE UNIT, HAS LEFT BELONGING AND HAD NOT YET BEEN BACK TO PICK THEM UP. JOE MENTIONED THAT TENANT HAD CALLED LAURA GRIJALVA TO SET APPT. TO PICK UP BELONGINGS, LAURA PUT TENANT BACK IN CONTACT WITH MAINTANENCE PERSON JOE, HE SAID TENANT WAS SUPPOSE TO CONTACT HIM ON 5/07/05, NEVER MADE CONTACT. I CHECKED UNIT ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, WHEN FIRST ARRIVING AND BEFORE I LEFT. KNOCKED ON DOOR BOTH TIMES, RECEIVED NO ANSWER. SAW THAT TENANTS BELONGINGS WERE SOMEWHAT PACKED UP IN BOXES. THERE IS TRASH AND DEBRIS THROUGHOUT THE UNIT. JOE DID MENTION THAT HE THOUGHT 21 DAY GRACE PERIOD TO PICK UP BELONGINGS WAS UP IN APPROX. ONE WEEK. ON 5/16/05 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM DAN SANTA CRUZ, DSD, WHO MENTIONED THAT LAURA GRIJALVA HAD CALLED FOR A ELECTRICAL RE-CONNECT OF UNIT, WAS IT OK ? I GAVE THE GO AHEAD TO RE-CONNECT. BECAUSE TENANT HAS VACATED THE UNIT, AND WINDOWS HAVE BEEN REPAIRED, THE UNIT IS NOW VACANT AND SECURED. DNR HAS NO FURTHER ISSUES. CASE CLOSED!!
