I CALLED DSD AT 8:45 AM TO FIND OUT WHO IS DOING INSPECTION, RICK MEYERS OF DSD WILL BE AT SITE TODAY AROUND 10:30 AM. UNIT WAS INSPECTED BY DSD ON 03/02/04 AND FAILED DUE TO POOR PRESSURE TEST AND LINES WERE NOT AT 18" BELOW GROUND. THE INSIDE OF HOME DID CLEAR ON THAT DATE AND DSD INSPECTOR WILL TEST AND INSPECT FOR PRESSURE AND CHECK FOR THE 18" REQUIRED FOR PLASTIC GAS PIPE. THE DAUGHTER OF TENANT WAS CALLED AT 8:55 AM FOR INFO ON CASE, WS NOT HOME. I DID LEAVE MESSAGE TO CALL ME ASAP. AT SITE I MET TENANT AND PLUMBER FROM 24-7. BEFORE INSPECTING UNIT I ALSO MET RICK MEYERS OF DSD, GAS LINES DID CLEAR THIS TIME AND DSD DID ADD BLUE STAKES TO PIPE. PRESSURE GOOD, THE TENANT HAS BEEN WITH OUT GAS SINCE JAN 29, 04. TURNED ON PERMIT #T04PL00255 FINAL ON 03/04/04 AT 10:45 AM. PLUMBER WAS ORDERED TO CALL SW GAS ASAP TO SET UP TURN ON. THE TENANT ALSO HAS ISSUES THAT WILL REQUIRE NOTICE OF VIOLATION. LOOSE PLASTER TAPE IN HALLWAY FROM ROOF LEAK. IMPROPER SEALS ON BATH SINK DRAIN. MISSING WEATHER SEALS ON BOTH DOORS, HEATER AND HOTWATER TANK FLUES NOT SEALED. HOTWATER INSTALLED W/O PERMITS? IMPROPER SINK SEALS AROUND BATH SINK, TRASH AND JUNK THRU-OUT LOTS AND ALL CARPORT, INCLUDING WASHROOM TRASH, WEEDS, CAR MOTORS, JMV. PEELING PAINT ON UNITS, IMPROPER USE OF DROP CORDS IN ALL CARPORTS. THE POOL AT SITE IS SECURED-LOTS OF MOTOR OIL DUMPED IN DRIVEWAYS AND CARPORTS. IMPROPER ELECT. WIRES ON ALL COOLER AND OUTLETS. PLUMBER WOULD NOT GIVE ANY INFO: FOR CONTACTS TO OWNER OR MANAGER INFO. TENANT HAS LIVED AT SITE SINCE 1976 (28 YRS). PHOTO'S TAKEN AT SITE. GAS TO BE RESOTED TODAY BY 5:00 PM. SWG. NOTICE TO FOLLOW.
