12/04/2003 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RHENDRIC Correction Required CALLED OUT TO ASSIST TPD DUE TO ELECTRICAL HAZARDS. WHEN I ARRIVED TPD HAD ALREADY CUT POWER TO THE STRUCTURE. THE TENANT WAS CITED BY TPD FOR ILLEGAL WIRING (STEALING POWER) .THE TENANT HAD BY-PASSED THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS TO GET POWER. THE OWNER SHOWED UP AFTER I CALLED HER. SHE STATED THAT NO ONE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE PROPERTY. THERE WAS A VAN IN THE REAR YARD WITH PEOPLE LIVING IN IT AND ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE SIDE YARD WITH SOMEONE LIVING IN IT. THE PERSON THAT WAS CITED WAS LIVING IN A SHED THAT HAD POTENTIAL OF COLLAPSE. HE HAD A 55 GALLON DRUM INSIDE THE UNIT USING IT FOR HEAT AND COOKING. THE YARDS AND PROPERTY WERE A MESS WITH JUNK, GARBAGE, AND DEBRIS EVERYWHERE. THE POOL WAS NOT SECURED WHEN I ARRIVED BUT WAS LATER SECURED. THE POOL WAS VERY DIRTY, GREEN, AND NASTY. THE UNIT WAS POSTEW UNFIT TO OCCUPY. THE OWNER WAS IN THE PROCESS OF SECURING UNIT AND THE PROPERTY. FOLLOW UP ON 12/5/03.
