DEPT OF NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCES (DNR) WILL REQUIRE A PERMIT TO REPLACE THE STRUCURAL MEMBER WHICH HAS COMPLETLY ROTTED. THE MEMBER IS THE CROSS BEAM OF THE BALCONY/ENTRY LANDING TO THE UPSTAIRS APTS WHICH THE STAIRWAY IS ATTACHED TO. SOME OF THE CONCRETE STAIRS HAVE ALSO DETERIORATED AT THE ATTACHMENT POINTS OF THE HANDRAILS TO THE STAIRS WHICH HAS ALLOWED THE HANDRAILS TO MOVE EXCESSIVLY. DNR WILL REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF A GEN REPAIR PERMIT UNLESS DSD FEELS A MORE EXTENSIVE REQUREMENT IS NECESSARY ONCE A REVIEW WITH THE CONTRACTOR IS COMPLETED. NOTE THIS IS A LARGE TWO STORY MULTI BUILDING APARTMENT COMPLEX. THE INSEPCTOR IS RICK SALDATE AND CAN BE REACHED ON CELL AT 240=-3257.

UNIT 2119 VACANT. ONLY UNITS UTILIZE THESE SET OF STAIRWAYS. ACTION: WILL ISSUE N & O FOR BOTH STAIRWAYS & LEAVE IN DROP BOX OF OFFICE. STAIRS NOT IMMEDIATLY HAZARDOUS THAT WOULD REQUIRE CONTRACTOR TO PLACE SUPPORTS TONIGHT. WILL CONTACT MGMT COMPANY IN THE MORNING. |
