WHILE TALKING TO SANDRA FRONT DOOR WAS OPEN AND WE COULD FEEL COOL AIR COMING OUT FROM HOUSE. EXPLAINED TO TENANT THE CODE REQUIREMENTS FOR COOLING OF A STRUCTURE. HOUSE IS OVER 2,000 SQ FEET AND HAS TWO COOLERS, ASKED THE KIDS IF ANY WINDOWS WERE OPEN FOR AIR TO CIRCULATE THRU HOUSE. THE REPLY WAS NO. EXPLAINED TO TENANT'S KIDS A COUPLE OF WINDOWS NEED TO BE OPENED WHILE COOLER IS RUNNING. COMPLAINT IS INVALID. OWNER WAS CONTACTED BY PHONE BUT NO ONE HOME LEFT MESSAGE FOR THEM CONTACT ME ON CELL PHONE POSSIBLE WORK WITHOUT PERMITS, PICTURES WERE TAKEN. |

EXPLAINED TO TENANT THAT COOLING IS ADEQUATE AND ASKED WHEN GAS WILL BE TURNED BACK ON SHE REPLIED THAT IT WAS NO BUSINESS OF MINE IF GAS WAS ON AND THAT SHE WOULD HAVE IT TURNED ON BY NEXT DAY. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN CODE PERTAINING TO REQUIREMENTS OF GAS FOR COOKING AND SANITARY PURPOSES. TENANT GOT UPSET AND DEMANDED I LEAVE. WILL SEND NOV TO TENANT. SPOKE WITH INPECTOR II ROB H. AT THIS TIME WE DON'T HAVE A STRONG CASE FOR VIOLATION. CLOSE CASE COULD NOT GET PICTURE OF PINNED METER DUE TO TENANT'S HUSBAND INTEFERENCE. |
