08/23/2000 INITIAL CODE VIOLATION DQUINN Correction Required SINGLE WIDE MOBILE HOME WAS FOUND TO HAVE IMPROPER PERIMETER GRADING. THIS LEADS TO A FLOODING CONDITION UNDER THE HOME, CAUSING THE SUPPORTS TO SETTLE. UNIT HAS BEEN LEVELLED TWICE, AND ONE CAN SEE WHERE THE WOOD BLOCKING AT THE TOP OF THE JACKS HAS INCREASED TO UP TO 3 INCHES. ROOF RUN-OFF FALLS WITHIN ONE INCH OF THE SKIRT, AND THE GRADE IMMEDIATELY STEPS UP, SO THE WATER RUNS UNDERNEATH. REGRADE AND BERM AND THEN RE-JACK AND POSSIBLY ADD RAIN GUTTERING SYSTEM ARE FIXES OTHER THAN MOVING THE WHOLE UNIT AND BRINGING FILL TO REGRADE LOT PROPERLY.
