Arrived and all the units are still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire was started on the exterior of the masonry building with trash and debris piled in the rear of the building by the alley. The flames reached a cooler that was mounted on the upper part of the building and that started to burn and smoke got into the building. No structural damage to the wood trusses and did make some holes in the ceiling to check for fire in the attic space through out the building. The front and rear doors were forced opened and damaged. The electrical was off for non payment and the gas was off at the meter. Will be asking to have a permit for the re-connect for the electrical and the gas to be turned back on. Did make contact with the owners and are aware of the fire and going to secure the doors that were forced opened. Did the posting of Do Not Enter and the paperwork on the front door on the plywood. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the doors secured. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
