03/23/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Met w/owner regarding property. It's very clear the owner has used local vegetation to landscape property. No all the plants on the property are weeds as stated. Walked with owner and discussed which were plants and which were weeds. Owner pointed out plants planted. Mallow, Milkweed (for butterflies), Primrose, Mexican Bird of Paradise, Relling (butterflies) Chocolate flower, Brittle bush, Mexican Zena, Desert Sena (Sulfur butterflies), AZ fold wings, Scorpion weed (tiny yellow flowers for the bees)... Owner admitted there are a few weeds. He pointed out the weeds. I pointed out the small broken branches and the yellow grass in the right-of-way area. Owner agreed to remove all the weeds, yellow grass and broken branches. | |
