12/19/2022 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared. The fire was started in the bedroom around the closet and the mattress. The unit has heavy smoke damage through out. The bedroom and the living room windows are broken. The drywall in the bedroom is burned on the walls and ceiling with holes in the walls and ceilings to check for fire extension. Found no fire where holes made and no damage to the wood framing through out. The bathroom walls and ceiling have some blistering where the heat was getting to spread the fire into the hallway. The unit was vacant at the time of the fire and was boarded up. The maintenance man are going to secure the unit once they start work. The maintenance man signed the paperwork on site. The electrical has been turned off at the meter. Did post a Do Not Enter on the front door. The unit only has the mattress in the bedroom area and no other furniture. The unit was not cleaned and appears to have just been vacated. RV.
12/20/2022 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation The unit is vacant and secured and will be closing the case at this time. Will be working with the insurance and getting a contractor to do the work. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
