12/10/2022 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a fire on the stairwell. Arrived and the fire was still active and was looking for hot spots. The fire at the top of the stairwell at the landing area where parts has been removed. T.F.D was making holes in the exterior wall and damage the drywall on the interior of the unit. This is a upper unit and has some damage to the drywall and has some water damage to the bottom unit. No smoke or fire damage to the bottom unit. The unit has dust inside the unit from cutting the plaster and the wood bottom plates to check for fire in the walls and the floor joist area. Did call the Redcross to the site due to the damage to the landing due to some of the landing is lacking. A riser has been removed that supports the plywood for the concrete topping on the landing. The bottom plate has been removed that was on top of the sub-flooring for the unit. Called Biff Baker Fence to the site to have fence panels placed at the bottom of the stairwell to prevent the owner from going up to the unit. The owners brother is living in the unit and had to call T.P.D. to the site to have the person removed. Called T.E.P. to remove the meter due to the person was starting to refuse to leave the unit and was going to go back in the unit. The brother Samuel signed the paperwork on site while waiting for the Redcross. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window by the stairs and the front door. RV.
12/20/2022 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed The H.O.A. has been in contact and the property is vacant and secured. The H.O.A. is working with a contractor to have the repairs done. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
