11/01/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Triplex unit #102 AC electrical disconnect box burned by fire. Checked the inside electrical box. Checked for any tripped circuits. Did not see any tripped circuits. Asked owner if there was anything else connected to the disconnect box on the roof. (Considering this is a tri-plex and there is also solar on the roof). Owner stated his occupants isn’t staying at the unit. Owner also stated he has a Licensed Electrician who will be coming out to fix the damage. Let the owner know while TFD was there a permit is required. Owner seemed surprised to hear a permit was required to repair the damaged electrical. Explained to the owner this rental property is a commercial property. A permit is required along with the Licensed electrician. Complete notice to vacate, permits required for the burned electrical disconnect box located on the roof, indemnification form. Posted red tag on front window. Pictures uploaded.
