A fire occurred in the structure causing smoke, heat and water damage to the ceiling and structural components. Large sections of the ceiling have collapsed. There is burned insulation, charred framing and damaged drywall. The eave on the eastside of the structure above the tankless water heater has a significant amount of charring. There is a significant amount of water damage to the ceiling and floors. There are several fire inspection holes due to fire response activity. Conditions present significant structural, electrical and environmental hazards. The structure has been condemned. TEP has shut off services only on this unit. A disconnect sleeve was place on the meter. Southwest Gas has turned off service to this unit. Utilities remain on in unit #2. Unit #2 is completely detached from the main structure and was not compromised by the fire. Owner secured property. Permits required for all repairs within 60 days. Work must be completed by a licensed contractor. Work has been done on this unit without permits (tankless water heater, AC unit and possible electrical). |
