| 11/01/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | Supervisor Laurie Pumphrey called that T.F.D. on site with a warehouse converted to venue and not sprinklered, exiting is lacking, and no C of O. Arrived and met with Jose Castro from T.F.D. and walk the property looking at the exiting that exist and has not enough exits and not being allowed to get to the public areas away from the structure. There is no emergency lighting through out the interior, has no sprinkler system or fire panels for the building. Has some openings that have been secured or are being blocked and not able to open the doors or windows. Did meet with the staff in charge of the venue and went over that the building needs plans and permits on the change of use. The staff was stating that the basement has a sprinkle systems but the use of the venue is not part of the area. The flooring is wooden and they are doing arsenals in the interior with out approvals Did tell the staff that I was going to meet with the building officials to check if they can open for the weekend. Did meet with the staff and did let them know that I am waiting for the building official to say yes if they can but as of now, they can not open on Saturday. The staff was advised that if the venue opens on Saturday that it will not be pretty due to T.P.D and T.F.D with Code Enforcement will be on site closing the building down and citation will be issued to those in charge.
