10/07/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation On 10/7/2026, at approximately 1145 hours, I conducted a site inspection of the property located at 3749 N. Stone Ave. The property consists of two vacant buildings located side by side. Each building is surrounded by a chain-link fence, with the buildings sharing a common section of fencing between the two properties. At first glance, the windows and doors on both buildings appeared to be boarded up and secured. However, while conducting a perimeter inspection of the property, I observed that the front door of the south building was completely unsecured and left open. I also observed an unsecured window on the south side of the north building. The chain-link fence surrounding the south building had a large opening, allowing unrestricted access to the property. The common fence separating the two properties was pulled off the support, creating an opening that allowed access to the unsecured window on the south side of the north building. Obvious signs of recent trespassing were observed throughout the property. These signs included fresh foot sign, trash and clothing located around the buildings, as well as what appeared to be freshly used baby diapers. Additional signs of recent activity and trash were also observed inside the buildings. The electrical system also appeared to have been tampered with. The exterior electrical conduit had been stripped from the building, and electrical service appeared to remain connected to the utility pole. At approximately 1230 hours, Tucson Electric Power was notified regarding the electrical connection, and a request was made to disconnect the electrical service to the property. A request was also made to have the damaged or removed boarding replaced and the openings to the buildings and property secured.
