11/08/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | Passed | Spoke with the owner and the neighbor who made the complaint. They have had some dispute in the past about the lights from David Drive shinning into the yard of the neighbor across the alley at 7635 E 42nd St. The property owner at David Dr, showed me all the security lights around his property, which are all pointed at a 45 degree angle downward towards the ground and none of the lights appear to be pointing directly into any adjacent areas. It is possible that indirect light could be shinning into other areas unintentionally, but I could not verify this due to it being daylight at the time of my inspection. Moreover, I explained to them that measuring light emissions is not within my purview of duties, advised them both that this would be a civil matter if any further action is needed, and I would have to close the case. |
