| 10/05/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | The office called that the property has a backed up sewer and going into the property next door. Angel from Storm Water called on the issues on the property and has been going on for 4-days. Arrived and T.F.D. was getting on site and Pima County DEQ was on site. Silverado Plumbing was on site and left. Was advised that the line was cracked and collapsed. The water was turned off until confirmed that the sewer line was working by being cleared. The water was turned off at the valves to the units on 405, 404, 403, 402, 401 due to the main line for the units was backing up and was going into unit 405 due to low end of the line. The tenant in 405 was getting solids in the shower shall and has been cleaned at this time and was not holding water in the shower stall. Did call the property manager Fort Lowell Realty and talk to Sara. She stated that the line has been cleared and did ask to confirm with the plumber. The plumber did call and stated that the line was cleared and has no break or has collapsed and is draining at this time. A pumper truck was ordered and was on it's way to remove the standing water on the street, the Day Care and the rear yard of the tenant. There was no other backing up in any other units and was only in 405. Did run the hose down the clean out and no backing up occurred. Did sprinkle Clorox on the rear yard and the dirt was green and turned to brown. Did spray water on top of the Clorox and left the site. There was no smell on the rear yard of sewage when I left the site. Did leave a card with the tenant to call if the backing up happens again. No paperwork was done due to all was working at this time. Will check next week. RV. |
