09/22/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Completed On site following a call from TFD regarding a residential fire. Upon arrival, management, the restoration contractor, and the tenant were on site. The tenant stated that the fire started in the kitchen after food was left unattended on the stove and caught fire. No major fire damage was observed to the surrounding areas, as the fire sprinkler system discharged and extinguished the fire. Water damage was observed throughout the affected unit. TFD disconnected the electricity at the main electrical panel, and I disconnected the main breaker at the meter. The restoration contractor was already on site and had begun water extraction and drying operations. No permit will be required for the restoration work. The unit is condemned until the affected areas are properly dried and made safe for occupancy. Management signed all required notices and the indemnification form and agreed to secure the unit. Case is closed.
