09/01/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Semi truck hit the south west corner of Dollar General Store knocking a 12 x 15 ft hole in the wall. Building has a metal frame. Metal studs damaged, electrical damaged. Interior and exterior wall and ceiling damaged by the semi truck. Electrical conduit in the wall was is bent and hanging off the wall. Turned off electrical circuit to the area damaged by semi. Completes notice to vacate, permits required, indemnification form. Posted building. Store Manager on site states Dollar General has a Disaster team mobilized and headed over to secure the building and will make sure the permits are pulls and the building is repaired.
