Living room where front door is has trash and debris scattered throughout floor, would be difficult to use front door in case of emergency. In kitchen, refrigerator is inaccessible, stove covered in trash and debris, rodent feces on stove, debris could become ignited. Sink full of dishes. Floors have dirt on them. Boxes in kitchen stacked high, shredded material on top of boxes. Feces on the floor of the kitchen. Dead animal on table in kitchen. The room at the far southeast corner of structure is inaccessible due to the doorway is completely blocked by trash bags and other materials, the inside of the room also appears to be full of trash and debris. Bedroom across from this (southwest bedroom) has apparent ceiling damage where portions of the ceiling has collapsed, can see insulation. Trash and debris throughout the room. Use of extension cords or power strips throughout, wall outlets are inaccessible. The conditions of the structure pose an inherent fire risk to any occupants as well as surrounding homes and the community. The accumulation of trash, apparent rodent infestation, and feces inside the home pose a health hazard to occupancy. TEP was called and responded, cut power at meter. An electric reconnect permit is required for reconnect with an inspection done by COT personnel to ensure no imminent electrical hazards prior to reconnection. SW Gas disconnected gas service. The structure shall be cleaned of trash and debris, and there shall be a pathway to walk through the structure unobstructed to egress points, and shall be free of any health hazards. Code Enforcement will need to reinspect and clear the condemnation before the structure may be occupied. A 60 Day Notice was issued requiring repairs to the roof with an Issued Permit, as more than half of the roof surface has blown off and is missing. Owner secured structure and vacated. -VM |
