The contractor removed the entire balcony and landing that was in front of these units without obtaining the proper permits for the demolition nor the repair/replacement. TFD was contacted to remove the individuals from the unit safely. Contact was made with the management to have them locate the displaced residents to a suitable place to live until the work is completed. The contractor was also contacted by me and Morales inform them that a stop work order has been placed on the construction project and they must contact PDSD to obtain the necessary permits. We will be inspecting the entire property over the next few weeks to identify all dilapidated balconies and present the management with citations to properly address the repairs to be performed on each one accordingly. |
