10/19/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Passed Property lot located at 722 N. Stone Ave building a wall behind restaurant and graded and added a black top / paved parking to the back end of property. Drainage is draining onto the neighboring property lot and causing a sink hole under the neighboring properties parking lot and under a parking space creating a potential for damage to patrons and to pedestrians. Property owner has attempted to talk with and work with property owner and business owner regarding the issue and has received no response to the issue in an effort to address the issue. Research finds the property owner at 722 N. Stone Ave. did not obtain prior approval for the paved parking lot, grading or for the cinder block wall installed onto the property. Lowest part of the wall measures over 6ft in height.
07/23/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed Received a call from the owner of the property, the owner of the restaurant and the owner of the neighboring property. Advised all three to work together to address the issue of the drainage and the sink hole caused by the drainage and the lack of permits for the parking lot and the wall. Explained that they all have to work together to address this issue.
