| 09/15/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | Passed | Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the unit was still on site. Has a large pot on a stove top cooking chicken and had no water and started to smoke in the pot. The electric was removed at the disconnects and the gas was removed at the meter. SWG was on site and the line test failed and the survey passed. The gas was going to be left off and will require a clearance to have the gas turned back on. The electrical was turned back on and all was working. Did have a tripped breaker and that is an ongoing issue by the kitchen for outlets by a register. There was no damage to the building but a window was broken to gain entry to check the cause of the smoke. Was given permission to call the City contractor to have the window boarded up. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secure the site. Called Communication and they were checking if Health Department will be coming to the site and never called or showed up. The electrical was not off more than 1-hour and the temperature for the refrigerator was OK. The supervisor for the kitchen was on site and was going to lock up once SWG completes the checking and gives the paperwork where the permit is required. There was no paperwork for the City due to was going to be able open if the gas had been turned back on. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
