09/27/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Completed Met w/occupant. Noticed the occupant had a lot of boxes in the front room. Asked about the raw sewage. No raw sewage, the plumbing worked fine, no smell of sewage or any indication of sewage anywhere in the rental unit.. Occupant complained about humidity in the apt. Did not feel any humidity. Felt the walls for moisture. None felt, noticed the occupant had several humidifiers in the apartment. Occupant complained about black mold and pointed at a 2 cm size area of discoloration on the popcorn ceiling (it was not black mold). Informed occupant we do not handle mold. Occupant also complained about a roach infestation. Looked under the sink in the kitchen and in the drawers. Noticed the drawers were all empty. Under the sink was packed up with storage of stuff. Saw one small dead roach. Advised the occupant she should dispose of the roach. Occupant refused to touch or get near the roach. Let her know if she leaves it there it's food for other roaches. I picked up the roach and threw it away. Occupant had removed registers off the vents and took pictures inside the vents and complained about the dust inside the vents. Explained the city does not enforce dust in air ducts. Close case.
