Case Details

Status:

Notice of Violation

Type:

RMIN/Residential development is currently experiencing a severe drop in water pressure. The water main for our this section transitions from a 2-inch main to a 1/2-inch line that services more than ten homes. Due to the age of this line and significant calcification, the resulting water pressure is exceptionally low. In response to this issue, the park management has implemented unsafe water management practices. They have connected garden hoses from one dwelling to another via hose bibs without backflow prevention. These unapproved lines are not designed for potable water transfer. Additionally, these hoses are running above grade, unprotected, and cross the paved road at two separate locations.
