| 08/11/2026 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | Passed | On site with tenant, manager of the trailer park and owner of the trailer. I inform them I am not here to discuss rent, eviction etc. I am here for the AC problem. When I arrived on site I notice a window AC unit installed in the living room window but is was not properly installed. The window above the AC unit was open not sealed to outdoor weather elements. The owner stated he installed the window AC unit properly in the bedroom. The tenant then stated she moved the window AC unit from the bedroom to the living room. We had an agreement owner would return at 11:00am today to properly install the unit in the window and the tenant would allow the owner in. While I was still on site the tenant came out and stated she is talking to a lawyer and she did not want the owner to come back at 11:00am to properly install the unit because she was moving out in two days. The owner was still on site and I informed him not to come back because the tenant will be out in less than two days. He stated he would make the repairs after the tenant moved out. Close case. |
