The exterior/interior wall/ceiling assemblies have been destroyed, exposing structural framing, insulation, and portions of the building systems. Structural members exhibit significant charring and fire damage, and fire-damaged debris remains throughout the property, creating unsafe conditions. The structure also exhibits evidence of significant water damage from fire suppression efforts. Fire- and water-damaged building materials remain in place that contribute to unsanitary/unsafe conditions. Due to the extent of the fire, electrical wiring, service equipment, outlets, switches, and other electrical components may have sustained damage and should be considered unsafe until inspected and approved by a licensed electrical contractor. Likewise, plumbing supply lines, drain lines, fixtures, and associated plumbing components may have been damaged by fire and heat exposure and require evaluation by a licensed plumbing contractor. TEP electric and Southwest Gas services have been disconnected( Meters remain on the property). Based on the observed conditions, the structure appears to constitute a dangerous building and presents a potential hazard to public health and safety due to compromised structural components, possible utility system damage, fire- and water-damaged materials, and hazardous debris. The structure has been condemned. City contractor secured with multiple panels of chain linked fencing. NOV/emergency abatement order signed by owner and an copy was provided. Two "Do Not Enter" signs were placed on the exterior of the property. Permits will be required within 60 days for all repairs, replacements. All work must be completed by a licensed contractor. Follow up by area inspector. |
