08/25/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation On site at property, with TPD, and responsible party. a Vehicle impacted the North-West side of the structure, CHURCH building, striking a storage room. The exterior has excessive wall damages. The storage room has excessive damages, however The interior of building structure, large service room, it appears no interior damages were made, and interior large beams did not get damaged. For the exterior, a large portion of the exterior wall is punctured and collapsed inward, with extensive crumbling of stucco and concrete. Wooden framing and insulation materials are visibly broken and scattered. Cracks radiate outward from the point of impact, showing how far the shockwave traveled through the wall. The door to the storage room in between the exterior wall and the interior large service room, appears dislodged or misaligned—the result of structural shifting from the impact. Overhead and side framing around the door show signs of stress, likely indicating some compromise to the structural integrity of that wall corner. The door and wall system between the sanctuary and the exterior wall show signs of misalignment or frame damage. For the interior, the large service room, remains largely undisturbed, indicating the vehicle may not have fully entered, but rather penetrated the wall without reaching deep into the interior. Permits required. Condemnation for occupancy until repairs and reinspection are complete and repairs are made by a licensed contactor, since this is a Church and offers services to the public. Responsible party signed forms and is the property manager for building of the Church and stated he is also a licensed contactor. Stated they will have the exterior border-up within 24 hours and will let the CE inspector know.
