08/30/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Passed Notified by office about house fire at this location. Arrived on scene as TFD was conducting salvage and overhaul of a two story residence. Talked to TEP on scene who already secured power to the house. According to Fire Investigator (and property owner,) gas was turned off to the house back in May 2023, verified gas was off. According to investigator, fire origin is believed to have in the 2nd floor master bedroom. Property owner stated there was one person living on the premises and was seen (by neighbors) exiting the property. The house is now vacant and unsecured. Secured front and back doors of the property (at request of owners). Front door secured (deadbolt) and back door (sliding glass door) secured with plywood. Posted Do Not Enter on the front and rear of the house. Property owner signed and received copy of the Notice of Emergency Abatement & Order to Vacate. There are three windows on the upper level that are broken at this time.
