| 07/30/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | On site with TPD, TFD, owner, owner's son, towing, and later Inspector R.G. Front brick wall, facing east of the property, of the house structure was damaged by impact from a vehicle. The damaged walls is to the front of the house and its interior living room. It appears the exterior brick wall has a large vertical and horizontal crack near the corner. Bricks have shifted and buckled, and several are dislodged or broken, especially near the base and around the window. The wall is visibly bowed inward next to the window, indicating impact force. The window frame is no longer flush with the surrounding brickwork, suggesting misalignment or structural shift. The interior appears to have a large, jagged crack runs across the interior wall from the upper left corner downward, crossing behind a framed picture and splitting toward the right. The drywall has broken away in spots, exposing deeper structural fractures. The damaged wall could have been supporting major weight to the dwelling structure. The force of the impact has caused displacement of bricks, deep wall cracks, and possible foundational shifting. Permits required. Condemnation due to damages. Isolated electrical power to the living room using the interior breakers, panel. Highly recommended structural engineer for the damaged wall within 24 hours. Owner has signed documents, indemnification, NOV, permits required form. | |
