| 07/11/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | 304 pm - Found an RV parked in driveway. AC unit is running. Water and electrical hooked up. Contact at RV, older gentleman opened door and refused to speak to me. Contact at home, provided owner with a Notice of Violation, 24 hours to disconnect utilities and 48 hours to vacate the RV. -VM | |
| 07/14/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | Passed | 228 pm - Electrical has been disconnected. Did knock at RV and no ans. Contact w/ owner who opened the RV, it is vacant. RV is hot inside, no signs of it being occupied. Did have a conversation with owner who is claiming the City Council provided her authorization for her to have her brother live in the RV. I asked for any documentation and she did not have any. I explained to her I was not sure what legal standing the City Council would have to authorize her to violate the law. I explained that the RV cannot be occupied at all, even if during the day, as that is considered camping activity and that is a violation of zoning laws. Recommend moving to a citation if owner is found to be back in violation in the future. Violations are abated at this time, close case. -VM |
