07/29/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Roof damaged by recent storm activity. Unit #10 is vacant. #14 is currently experiencing water coming in to the unit each time it rains. Shutting this unit down. Water is coming in around the windows and doors at the front end of each rental unit. Property Management has obtained a Roofing Contractor to repair the roof. Currently the roof is covered with tarp and boards. Roof should be completely repaired with in the next two weeks. Contractor is Esconda Contracting Co. out of Marana, AZ. Completed shut down paper work for unit # 14. Rental units #9, 3, 2, 10, 6, 8, 7, 5, 15 are occupied appear to be dried out. Rental units 9, 10, 11, 1 are vacant and currently being repaired. Property management has shut off electrical to the vacant units. Permits are required for the storm damage repair. Posted nov and shutdown paper work for Property Manager who stated he would be back in the area later this afternoon to ensure rental unit is secured and occupant is relocated to another location.
09/24/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Apartment complex still has tarp on the roof. No permits have been applied for. Issue citation
