08/11/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | Passed | I met the tenant at the unit at 8am. Maintenance treated the unit for roaches. The bathroom ceiling is not falling down nor was it damaged. The ceiling previously had a leak coming from upstairs and has since been repaired. One electrical outlet was slightly loose and only needed to be tightened, which I did myself during the inspection. Air flow in the unit was fine and the temperature reading was 76 degrees throughout the unit. Bathroom drain was already repaired and the bathtub did need re-surfacing, which I informed the management of this. The front door needed a weather strip placed around it. I stayed on site while management dispatched the maintenance crew to repair the door and address any of the tenants concerns. At 9:00am myself and maintenance where there for them to fix her unit. The tenant did not answer the door and looked out the window then she went away and after 20 minutes waiting and knocking she did not answer the door again. I stayed on site for an additional hour to address other cases on the property and the tenant still did not answer the door to let maintenance in to repair her unit. I will be closing the case |
