07/26/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation The office called that has no AC and no electrical to half the unit. Arrived and met with the tenant and the kitchen has electrical on and nothing into the bedroom areas. The AC is not running at all. Did check the breakers and nothing has tripped or feels loose. Did go outside to check the main panel and had to get maintenance to open the doors due to screwed shut. The meter was not changing and has no power to on leg going into the unit. Did call T.E.P. and they came out and check the voltage and has power to one side of the meter and nothing on the other side. The electrician came to the site and will be checking the gutter. Not sure if the wire came loose and burned at the connection. Did let the tenant know that the power will be going off completely for some time. Did serve the N.O.V. to Vacate to the manager and did let her know that kids have been sent away from the unit due to the temperature is reading 91 to 95 degrees and has only one fan in the bedroom from the tenant. The person working on the AC was not able to check the unit due to not able to get it running due to lack of power to the unit on one phase. RV.
08/10/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed The unit was repaired and have not been able to make contact with the tenant. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
