07/22/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared the site. T.P.D. was on site and were checking for placement. The fire was in the kitchen area on a countertop and appears that paper was stacked in the area and burned. The kitchen cabinets were burned, heavy smoke damage and had a GFCI outlet in the area and was burned. Holes were made in the wall to check for fire in the wall and had no fire. The unit has no smoke detectors and the electrical meter was blanked off. Was not able to make contact with the office and left a message for the emergency office to call. Did allow the tenant to gather some items and the maintenance crew showed to the property. They did check the damage and were going to secure the site once the tenant is ready to leave. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter and the N.OV. to Vacate on the front window. There is no structural damage to the main structure. RV.
