The fire was in a trash dumpster in the rear of the building. The building has a trash chute on the side of the building from the top floor to the dumpster and the smoke went up the chute and had smoke on all the floors. There was no damage to the building and T.F.D. was in the process of getting the smoke out. The fire was contained to the dumpster. Soap was used and the fire investigators were getting to the site to check for cause. The tenants were starting to be let back into the unit. The elevators were turned back on to work manual. The management for the building were on site and was owned by the City of Tucson. At this time the case will be closed due to the management will take over the clean up. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
