07/17/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation The office called that T.F.D. on site with building fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared and no one on site. The door was locked and did talk to people around the area and no one knew of the fire. Did leave a card on the door and check the meter and was still on. Will wait for the call back or check the site tomorrow. Did try and call communication and was not able to get through due to the storm and volume of calls. RV.
08/03/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Completed Met with the tenant in the unit. He is denying that there was a fire in the unit. There is a large amount of batteries that are being used for power for lighting. The electrical has been turned off for non-payment. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front door and the N.O.V. to Vacate with it. Did go over on being on the property during the day and has to be working or cleaning the property and not being on the property at night. The brother of the owner refused to sign and did the posting and will be mailing the copy of the N.O.V. to Vacate to the owners address. T.E.P. was called to place hold on a Call for Connection to have the power back on. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
