Arrived and the units were still on site and the son of the tenant was on site. He gave permission to inspect the unit. Found roaches through out the house where the kitchen and bathroom were full of roaches. Has no clear paths to doors or windows, the gas water heater is covered with clothing, the gas stove was being used for storage and was using a burner to cook food on top of the stove. The kitchen sink was backed up and has been for some time due to the color of the water. The dog food was covered with roaches. Took pictures and called the owner to let him know that the unit was going to be condemned. He stated that he did know that the unit needed work to be done due to not allowed into the unit. Did find the gas meter behind unit #8 and has been turned off for non payment. The electrical was turned off at the meter and the meter was behind unit #6. Did to the posting of the paperwork on the front window with Do Not Enter. The tenant was in the hospital and the son was going to stay with a friend. RV. | |
