07/06/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.P.D. on site with a car into building. Arrived and the truck has been removed back into a parking Handi-cap space. The truck hit the exterior wall to the unit # 109. The wall was pushed in hitting the wall heating and cooling unit under the window, the window was broken, the stucco has cracks around the window where pushed in from the impact. The damage was contained to the sleeping room with drywall damage to the interior wall around the window. The person in the room at the time of the incident was moved to another room. The owner gave permission to call the City of Tucson contractor to board up the window. Arcaiden Industries was called to the site to secure the window. The manager on duty signed the paperwork on site. The electrical was left on and no gas to the unit. The owner has a contractor coming to the site to check the damage and start the repairs. At this time the case will be closed and working with the insurance on the claim. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
