06/30/2026 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Inspector Kelley and Gonzalez arrived on scene at 7:34am. TFD and TPD was on scene. The initial call came in at 3:24am and TFD arrived and began suppression at 3:32 at which time the fire had been spilling out the door and growing in size. The fire began in Unit 117 and the tenant of the unit was deceased upon TFD arrival as was her pet. Upon inspection, the unit had severe damage to the interior fire walls which appear to have been breached into neighboring units as evidenced by the smoke damage to the outlets and light fixtures in unit 116. The fire caused significant damage to the joists of the balcony. The electrical power lines were exposed in the fire and appeared severely damaged by the heat. Because the power for the entire west side of the building shared central power lines, the power for units 114,214,115,215,116,216,117,217,118,218 must all be shut down. This means that three tenant of these units will be displaced, the PM is aware and indicated they have additional units on property that they can be relocated to. TFD departed at 8:05am.
