| 06/09/2026 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | On site with TFD,TPD, TEP, Southwest gas and owner for a call to an emergency structural fire. On site at residential structure fire. At this time an inspection was conducted and it was observed that primary structure has sustained significant fire damage. Extensive charring of structural framing members, partial collapse of roof/ceiling assemblies, compromised exterior/interior walls, and damaged/ exposed electrical/mechanical components. The electrical system has sustained severe fire and heat damage. Conductors observed with missing/deteriorated insulation, charring and melting consistent with high heat exposure. TEP has removed service from the property at the pole and removed meter. The heat compromised the plumbing water line throughout the house. Southwest gas disconnected service and removed the meter/riser. Roof/ceiling framing show extensive charring and heat exposure. The wood members have lost structural strength and have begun to partially collapse. Interior wall studs are burned/compromised. This has reduced load-bearing capacity. The building has lost structural reliability. Connection(nails, fasteners, anchors) are weakened by the heat. Windows/ doors are broken/missing, openings are exposed. The interior and exterior of the entire property has an excessive amount of storage, trash and debris. This includes several junked/inoperable motor vehicles on the property and city right of way. Owner secured property. Do Not Enter signs were placed on side entry door and both font/back gates. All paper work including NOV was handed to owner. Permits will be required for rehab/demo within 60 days. |
