There is a broken window on the west side of the building. Electric meter is removed, wiring in this area in panel boxes is all removed. Camping materials and piles of trash and debris in multiple places throughout the exterior of the building. Two gas meters are both locked off. There is grafitti on the building. On the inside of the building, there is camping materials, trash and debris, and drug paraphernalia. All electrical wiring has been gutted and removed from the interior of the building. The structure of the building does not appear to be compromised. The building already contains boarded windows. Did speak with owner and will have City contractor secure the building. The owner states there are plans to demolish the building. City contractor arrived and boarded the window on the west side and screwed shut the front door due to the screws had been backed out of door leaving it unsecured. Building is condemned and may not be occupied. It shall be repaired or demolished under permit. -VM |
