Per TFD, fire likely was caused due to resident was using extension cords to power a wall/window AC unit, extension cord overheated, and resident reported seeing smoke behind the sofa in the area of the extension cords prior to seeing flames. There is extensive fire damage to the mobile home. The electrical in the mobile home is burned and bare, exposed copper wires are found throughout the mobile home. The structural members of wall and roof of the mobile home are extensively fire damaged, burned and compromised. It is possible that the roof of the mobile home may collapse. The entire front door is missing and the walls around the front door are missing, large opening into the mobile home. The metal front porch has partially collapsed at the front door. Electrical is off at the main disconnect, is a private electric meter. Property management on site padlocked the disconnect. Mobile home resident and owner served with EAOV notice. Property management signed the NAO and will fence off the front, and board windows. Mobile home is condemned and may not be occupied. The mobile home shall be demolished, or repaired with an Issued Permit by a licensed contractor. -VM |
