| 06/14/2024 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | 4:00 PM - Called out to site by TPD. Arrived and found a car struck two pillars supporting the front porch over the front door. Two pillars have been sheared from the ground and building. The water backflow was taken out and sheared down to the ground. Water was turned off prior to my arrival. The vehicle struck the front door, shattering the glass of the doors and damaging the door frame. The stucco wall was pushed in to the left of the front door. Contact with business owner, was unable to secure the structure. City contractor was called to the scene. Contractor shored up the front porch with two 2 X 6's and boarded the front door. Structure was posted unsafe to occupy. Business owner was given a copy of EAOV and Damage Report. Permits Required for all repairs with use of a licensed contractor. -VM |
