06/27/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Was on site with T.P.D. to check the units on the property. All is vacant and secured and found no one on site. Did meet with the owners rep. from Utah and went over the issues with the property being vandalized. Did open one of the units so the owners rep. could take pictures of the damage. Did go over that fires are now being started in the units and outside the buildings. Did have the rep. sign the No Trespassing letter and the N.O.V. to Vacate with new case number. Did go over on having security on the property and armed. T.P.D. did give info on off duty officers being called to do the security and will check on the cost. The rep. was OK with the amount what has been done so far on securing the site with the board up and the fencing. Did go over on getting the Demo permit re-issued and starting the demo back up. The rep. was going to get the No Trespassing signs and post in different areas. Will check on daily basis and the rep. will be calling on the progress of the permit to have the hotel changed to apartment units. Did go over on having the pool drained. RV.
07/19/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation The property is vacant and secured. The property has been cleaned and the pool is covered with the plywood top. Did call the owners rep. and bringing in security and working on cleaning an office space for the security to stay. They will start working on the building soon. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
