| 05/23/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | Completed | 1258 PM - Met at the property with a Manager from PDSD. Viewed easement of this property from neighboring house to the south with permission of that property owner. Signs of about 6 inches to 1 foot of dirt has been added to the rear easement behind this home. It would appear that the addition of dirt changes the flow of stormwater through this easement. Spoke to the nephew of the owner over the phone and advised of the violation. He voiced concerns about what he feels like is harassment from the neighbor to the south, however we did advise that this is a valid violation and that his failure to abate the violation in a timely manner may result in flooding to nearby homes, which he may be held responsible for. Issued a NOV for 14 day compliance window. -VM | |
| 06/06/2025 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | Passed | 844 AM - Received a call from responsible party stating work is complete. Conducted an on site inspection with Section Manager from PDSD. Found the additional dirt previously added has been removed. The current grade appears to now match the grade of surrounding properties. The slope appears to be restored to the previous south to north flow. Violation has been abated, close case. -VM |
