Arrived and all the units left the site and had the fire investigators on site and checking for cause. There are issues with the fire and going crime scene. Did meet with the fire captain and let him know that the other unit has been cleared to have the gas and the electrical turned back on. Did leave a card and will be called back. The fire was in the living room area and burned the window and door and appears all the other openings are OK. Will leave the site and wait for call back. RV. | |
| 05/31/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | Passed | Was called back and check the site. The front window and the door in the living room are burned out. The drywall has been pulled down on the ceiling and wall to check for the fire damage on the wood framing and had none. The electrical and the gas have been removed at the meters and will need a permit to be turned back on. The fire carried into the living room and kitchen and has heavy smoke damage. No vent holes were cut on the roof. The property is City of Tucson owned by Housing Department and the agent was on site and signed the paperwork on site. Redcross was called to the site for placement. The City of Tucson contractor for housing was called to the site to secure all the openings. The tenant has been advised that in order to enter the house that she needs to call to be let in. The house was posted Do Not Enter on the front and rear of the house. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
