05/10/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Completed Communication called that T.F.D. on site with an apartment fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site and were not going to be able to enter the house to check for cause due to the wood trusses have burned and approx. 6 to 8 trusses damaged. The fire burned through the plywood sheathing leaving a hole in the roof and has broken windows. The fire got into the attic and damaged 2-other units with water in the ceiling where the drywall fell down. This unit is a total lost and the electrical and the gas have been removed at the meters. The maintenance will board up the windows and doors to have the unit secured. The manager was on site and signed the paperwork. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front doors. The unit was vacant and had people in the unit at the time of the fire. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
