04/28/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Called out to site by TPD. Car drove into northeast corner of unit 11, near front door of unit. Damage to structural members including the studs in the area. There is a cracked bottom plate in the area. There is damage to the stucco, including large portions of stucco removed, can see inside to the interior of the unit. Did enter unit, there are no utilities or outlets in this area, no other utilities visible in the wall. There appears to be damage to the front door area as the area is pushed in to the west and the front door is difficult to close. There is no cracking to the ceiling or the structural members above the front door that support the second floor landing, and no cracking or sagging in the ceiling of the unit. The insulation has been removed from this area. The gutter has become detached from the roof and is laying on the ground. Called listed number for owner, there was no answer. Tenant and TPD Officer also stated they attempted contacting owner. City contractor was called to secure the opening into the wall. Contractor arrived and secured the opening into the unit. Notice of Violation was posted on the unit. Permits are required for repairs with use of a licensed contractor. -VM
