Arrived and found multiple vacant and unsecured structures, including a main home, a pool house, a garage, and a carport with multiple rooms and a staircase. Unsecured pool with stagnant water and trash and debris at bottom of the pool. All windows on all structures are broken, doors are removed, water heater disconnected, and discarded in front lawn with gas lines loose. Electrical removed throughout with loose wire and conductors scattered throughout property. Evidence of squatting activity to include fires. Contacted owner who states he is demolishing the structures under permit. Called dispatch to have gas and electric services removed. TEP did respond and cut power at the pole. Southwest gas did respond and meter had been removed prior to arrival and will require construction department to return and cut lines. City contractors were called to board two open windows and gate, and fence the remaining perimeter of the property. Structure was posted unsafe to occupy and keep vacant. -VM |
