| 04/14/2024 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial | In Violation | 106 PM - Called out to site by TFD. Fire occurred above the stove in and around a flex duct vent to the HVAC system. Drywall was removed in this area and in the abutting washer and dryer room. There was no apparent damage to any structural members or electric lines in the area, however, the cause of the fire could not be determined. Did have maintenance take pictures of the damaged areas. TEP was on site and disconnected power at the meter. A licensed electrician will be required to review the electrical before electric can be reconnected. Property manager did arrive. Fire department did enter the unit above to check for damage, but they found no fire damage in that unit. Maintenance did go ahead and secure the upstairs unit. Maintenance was able to secure the fire damaged unit. Unit was posted Unsafe to Occupy. Permits required for repairs. -VM |
